Hello Friends,
Yesterday I released a new video, and along with it, 2 brand new things.
The video is all about the Kanye song, “All of the Lights”, and it includes a clip of an interview I did with Ken Lewis, who produced the iconic horns on this song. While the clip of our conversation in this video is brief, we actually talked for almost an hour about his wide ranging career, artists he’s worked with, and what he’s been working on lately.
There’s just one problem. I can’t put a clip about his work on “Watch The Throne”, Wu Tang’s secret album, or Kanye’s Grammy performance in a video about “All of the Lights”
But you know where I can put it?
On the brand new YouTube channel Digging the Talks!
Think of this as a complimentary channel to the main Digging The Greats channel. I’ll post additional clips from my interviews with artists, producers, and musicians that don’t quite fit on the main channel. So if you want to go even deeper on the stories behind the music you love, you’ll want to subscribe.
I’ve already got several clips on there from my conversation with Ken Lewis, with more coming in the next week, and I’ll continually be updating it as I have more and more talks with guests. If you’re wondering who the other guests are - just go subscribe and find out!
This leads me to the second thing I’m announcing - my FULL conversation with Ken Lewis is now available on the all new Digging The Greats Podcast!
Go check it out on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else you listen to podcasts. The first episode is my interview with Ken Lewis. We get into his career working with artists like Kanye, J. Cole, Queen Latifah, Mariah Carey, Public Enemy, Aretha Frankin, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, and many, many more.
I’ve already got a few interview episodes with other guests coming, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
So go check out the Digging The Talks YouTube channel and the Podcast, and I’ll talk to you soon!
